Cookie Policy & Inventory

The cookies and similar technologies used on this website and the choices available to you.

1. About this policy

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on Lurny’s public websites that link to it, their purposes and your choices. Our Privacy Policy provides further information about personal information, recipients, international transfers and your rights. Customer workspaces and mobile applications may have additional notices and controls appropriate to their deployment.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can support a session, remember a preference or recognise a browser on a later visit. Session cookies generally last for the browser session; persistent cookies have an expiry period and may remain until they expire or are deleted.

Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and scripts that store or access device information or communicate with a provider. Local storage may remain until cleared by the website or browser. A technology can involve tracking even if it does not create a traditional cookie.

First-party cookies are associated with the website domain you visit; third-party cookies are associated with another domain. This distinction alone does not establish who receives information or whether a technology is necessary. A third-party service can also use a first-party cookie.

3. Purposes and categories

The inventory accompanying this policy identifies the technologies actually deployed. The following categories explain how they are classified; a category description does not mean that every technology in that category is used.

CategoryPurposeProposed choice
Strictly necessaryFunctions essential to provide a requested service, such as session security or retaining cookie choices.Always active only where necessity is verified.
PreferencesOptional convenience settings or personalisation beyond essential service functions.Off until selected.
AnalyticsUnderstanding visits and interactions to improve website content and usability.Off until selected.
External media and toolsOptional embedded video, chat or other third-party features that store or access information.Off until selected or separately enabled with a clear notice.
AdvertisingCampaign tracking, remarketing or advertising profiles, if deployed.Off until selected.

[Publication check: confirm the categories in use and implement the choices below. Remove this note and revise the category table heading to “Your choice” before publication.]

4. Your choices

Our proposed website control offers “Accept all”, “Reject optional” and “Manage preferences”. Optional categories start switched off. You can save your selected categories without accepting all of them. Closing the banner, scrolling or continuing to browse does not turn optional categories on.

Use the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer to review or change your choices at any time. Rejecting optional technologies allows general browsing, although a particular optional feature may remain unavailable until you enable it. Essential technologies cannot be disabled through this control where they are necessary for the service you request.

Changing your choice stops future optional use under our control. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing. Existing third-party cookies may need to be removed through your browser. Deleting stored data alone does not necessarily stop a provider from receiving new requests; our website must also stop the relevant optional tags.

Choices normally apply to the browser and device on which you make them. You may need to choose again after clearing browser storage, using another browser or device, or after a material change in purposes or providers. The inventory states how long the preference record is kept.

[Publication check: replace “proposed website control” with “website control” only after it is implemented and tested. Confirm the exact footer link and cross-domain behaviour.]

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and other site data through their privacy settings. Blocking all cookies may affect sign-in or other essential functions. Private browsing and blocking third-party cookies do not necessarily prevent every form of tracking. Use the website’s preference control as well as your browser settings.

6. Providers and information retention

Depending on the technology, information can include browser identifiers, device details, IP address, page visits, interaction events or saved preferences. The completed inventory names each provider and explains the purpose and duration of each item. A cookie’s expiry is different from the period a provider retains information already collected.

Embedded features may contact an external provider when enabled. Review the provider link in the inventory for its practices. We do not treat a provider’s general description as proof that its technology is necessary or that it operates without tracking.

7. Updates and contact

We update this policy and inventory when website technologies or purposes change. Where a new choice is needed, we request it before enabling the relevant optional use.
